The content is very broad and will be discussed together with the students. Examples of subjects are:
liquid crystals, shape memory alloys, multilayer semiconducting materials, superplastic materials, neoceramics, thin film technology, different forms of carbon, nanotubes, nanowires, nanoparticles and quantum dots. ...
The technological performance is related to the physical properties and/or to the local structure.
