De evolution and dissemination of scientific knowledge depend for a large part on effective communication by scientists to other scientist and to the general public. This happens in the form of lectures, posters, abtracts and (peer-reviewed) papers. These are therefore also fundamental to any scientific career. A scientist has to perform well in each of these forms of communication to build up a solid reputation and make progress in his scientific field. In this course you will learn the fundaments of these techniques. You will make posters, give lectures, write abstracts and papers on subjects taken from the Physics education at the UA or scientific news related to physics. By participating in the evaluation of the assignments from the other students, and by posing questions at the presentations, you will train your critical thinking skills.
