During this course we build upon the knowledge gathered in the course "Fauna and flora I". You become familiar with several identififcation methods, particularly the use of identification kys. During field excursions to several nature reserves in Flanders, you learn to recognise animals and plants in the field, or you take them to lab for further identification.

Towards the end of the year, you can instantly recognise the more common plant and animal species and you can identify other species using identification keys. Towards the end of the second yea, you need to prepare your own herbarium.
