3. Course contents *

By means of the Python programming language, the students are taught the basic structures of a high level programming language, as well as how these can be combined in order to implement algorithms.
On top of this, students are taught how to employ software libraries in order to integrate existing functionality, such as function plotting, into their own programs.
Finally, it is demonstrated how, using the acquired knowledge in Python, the transition can be made towards a product with a more specific focus, Matlab.
