3. Course contents *

The communication skills (5 x 3 h) are a sequel of the previous year: out of comprehensions of ‘active listening’ the way of history taking is introduced and practiced with intake and anamnesis emphasising a medical interview with all his aspects including giving information. Secondly, students are trained in building a doctor-patient relationship. Students will have the opportunity to practise with simulated patients and to record a conversation with a hospitalized patient. The content of the medical-technical skills training sessions (16 h) include the clinical investigation of  the heart and peripheral blood vessels; the lungs, the abdomen, the gynaecological investigation and suturing techniques.
