3. Course contents *

To understand the working and construction of the human body, it is necessary that a number of biochemical processes who form the basis of life are illustrated. Therefore in this syllabus the chemical construction and structure and the biochemical working of the cell as smallest unit of the human body are explicated extensively.
Different processes that the cell uses to ‘live’ are illustrated, to give comprehension in the construction and working of the cell, tissues and of an organism.
Exam metabolic pathway and enzymology: partial open book (cards metabolic pathways may be used during the exam).
