The course contains 2 large contents: general physiology and anatomy.
General physiology: basic mechanisms of following cell types: red blood cell, endothelial cell, neuron, and different types of muscle cells. Basic principles like membrane potential, action potential, pacemaker potential and muscle contraction are explained and illustrated with animation movies. Targets for pharmacological intervention are explained when applicable
Anatomy: anatomy of the organs for body movement, and of the central nervous system, emphasizing the relation between the structure and function.
