  • Introduction: Anamnesis, clinical examination of the baby and child.
  • Normal and abnormal development. Developmental milestones.Psychomotoric development..
  • Intelligence, speech and language. Learning disorder. Clinical illustration: breath-holding spells. 
  • Normal growth. Hormonal regulation. Puberty and sexual development.
  • Neonatal adaptation to extra uterine life.
  • Transitional circulation. Respiratory distress of the newborn. Screening of the neonatus.
  • Most common genetic abnormalities. Interpretation of a family tree.
  • Infant food. Breast feeding. Feeding problems.
  • Exanthem
  • Cough and asthma, infections of the airways.
  • Paediatric cardiology, hypertension, arrhythmias.
  • Congenital abnormalities of the urinary tracts. Enuresis. Paediatric nephrology.
  • Vomiting and malnutrition. Feeding problems.
