3. Course contents *

Neurological physiotherapy 1 consists of  Motor Learning, Neurophysiology  and Study Traject Coaching (SLC3).  

Motor Learning provides a theoretical framework about the processes of motor control and motor learning. The course covers the following parts: 

  • Part 1: Motor Learning and Motor Control: Definition and domain determination 
  • Part 2: Models of Motor Control and Motor Learning 
  • Part 3: The role of sensory information in the control of movement and the proces of motor learning
  • Part 4: Movement Coordination and Control 

Neurophysiology deals with

  • Neurophysiology of the cell 
  • Neurophysiology of Learning and Memory 
  • Functional neuroanatomy: the thalamus 
  • Functional neuroanatomy: the sleep-wake regulation 
  • Neurophysiology of the autonomic nervous system 
  • Reflexes 
  • Somatoviscerale sensibility 
  • The motor system 
  • Rehabilitation after CNS injury
