3. Course contents *

The practical exercises consist out of three parts.

1) Molecular and cellular immunology: students learn techniques base don antigen-antibidy interactions as ELISA, immuno-precipitaion, IgG-isolation, isolation of mononuclear cells,…

2) Molecular genome and proteome analysis: the techniques are integrated in several experiments. Students will perfom Yeast-2-hybrid, Western blotting, mutagenesis, RFLP-PCR and genotyping of DNA-markers.

3) Cell culture experiments: students will learn the basic techniques concering the growth of eukaryotic cells in a LAF-cabine.
