3. Course contents *

• The definition and characteristics of the design process for sustainable design and interaction design.
• Basic principles of sustainable design and the identification of the defining aspects. Basic principles of human-product interaction and cognitive processes.
• The basic principles of TRIZ, a methodology for creative thinking and problem solving and knowledge of the inventive principles module.
• Techniques and methods for eco-design (Lids wheel - Ovam ecowijzer) and interaction design (personas, scenarios, co-creation, user tests, ...)

Application:
• Practicum in which the aspects that identify the sustainability of a product are determined, analyzed and on the basis of this, environmental improvements will be proposed.
• Perform user research and the development and testing of an interaction design concept.
• Quick Design Assignment (Triz): use the TRIZ inventive principles as a checklist while generating alternative solutions.
