3. Course contents *

The research theme of this case study covers the always changing relationship between Object and Space.  You will examine the implicit and explicit needs of existing spaces and objects and how the two relate to each other. Following questions will emerge : what is the extent to which the space - which is present - determines the parameters for the design object within that space ; how can a designed object affect space which can result in  adjustments or interventions.

You will find answers by analyzing the space and will learn to grasp space formally, constructively and historically.

Upon implementing objects you will need to intervene the present space and redefine it at the level of function and shape
