In this case you search for possibilities and design tools that you can use as a designer to deal with the changing relationship and dimension of time and space in research by design. This includes following questions: when is space timeless? Can you tune your designing on new habits, peculiarities, evolutions or rhythm of human behaviour? How to read space(s), the history of a place or interior? What does 'zeitgeist' mean, what is the power of an icon in time? How can zoning and orientation reinforce each other? Is time the new space? In this case many topics could be considered such as: observation of human behaviour, customs and rituals; flexible and mobile use; static versus dynamic space; evolution of space in time; reuse; aging of material, interiors and residence patterns; pop-up interiors; spaces for periodic or lifetime use, adjustable leaving, life extension of space; designing the unknown, the unimaginable, utopian design; measuring space on the basis of time; space for relaxation; the ephemeral space etc ...
