When you design, you adjust the environment or space and look for better solutions for human interactions. You will intervene in time and space. In this case you will explore possibilities and use design tools that are available for a designer in order to deal with the changing relationship and dimension of time and space. This includes following questions: when can space be timeless? Can you tune your design on new habits, peculiarities, evolutions or rhythm of human interactions? How to read space(s), the history of a place or interior? What does zeitgeist mean, how strong can an icon be in time? How can zoning and orientation reinforce each other? Is time the new space? In this case many topics or issues could be considered such as: observation of human behaviour, customs and rituals; flexible and mobile use; static versus dynamic space; evolution of space in time; reuse; aging of materials, interiors and residence patterns; pop-up interiors; spaces for temporarily or lifetime use, adaptable living, life extension of space; designs for the unknown, the unimaginable or utopian design; measuring space in a dimensional way on the basis of time; space for relaxation; ephemeral space etc ...
