3. Course contents *

This course consists of three parts: Toolbox Methodology 3, Context and Mixed Media.

Toolbox Methodology 3: (Nathalie Vallet, NN)

This component closes the courses Toolbox Methodology. We work on developing a research that is based on the fascination regarding a discipline. On the basis of research techniques, a site and / or a fascination for another discipline, will be studied systematically. Through explorative research you write about a problem or inference. Reflection leads to a critical analysis of the discipline.

Context: (guest lectures)

Through actor's guest lectures you gain insight into their work or practice, how they deal with different contexts (historical, actual, social, medial, environmental, etc ...) and how they think and act creatively and explorative. You will take part in the discussion and you will document and describe relevant crossovers.

Mixed Media: (guest lectures)

New communication and multimedia techniques are used to support the research by design and to document the research and 'the making of ...'. Chosen techniques are supported with basic information. At the product presentation new communication skills are showed and the level of study assessed.
