This project starts from a selection of previous design files.
An analysis must be made at the start, with the aim of optimizing the operating principle and the usage concept.
Based on this analysis, the student proposes and tests multiple design adjustments via breadboarding and calculations. The design proposal with the most potential is analyzed by simulation software and optimized via an iterative process, after which the final design is brought to a detailed design and translated into technical drawings.

The student performs an ergonomic analysis.
Mechanical aspects of Products:
Board regarding tolerance management, European guidelines, standards and quality marks, and Design for Assembly. As an application, the student checks his proposal to the Machinery Directive.
