3. Course contents *

The POP (Personal Development) encourages you to take initiatives to develop, to adjust, to improve, to distinguish yourself within and outside the training. In long term, the POP is used as a tool to make you independent and critical. By selecting and forming extra skills you become a strong player in the professional and academic world. In this course three components provide the achievement of learning outcomes (competences). Each component consists of two aspects. 1. Component Discourse: 1a. Presentations of design (Johan Nackaerts, Gert Van Echelpoel) and 1b. Reflections on research by design (Johan Nackaerts, Gert Van Echelpoel). 2. Component Inspiration & Guidance: 2a. Lectures and exhibitions (Els De Vos) and 2b. Workshops and Study trips (Johan Nackaerts, Gert Van Echelpoel). 3. Component Learning & Ambitions: 3a. Personal Development Goal (POD),(Michel Corthaut) and 3b. Reflections on training (Michel Corthaut).
