  • Optics fundamentals, transmission microscopy and contrast enhancement 
  • Fluorescence microscopy, fluorescent markers and reporters 
  • Fluorescent labeling techniques and confocal microscopy
  • Techniques for sampling molecular interactions and dynamics 
  • High throughput and high content microscopy for systems biology
  • Superresolution
  • Molecular-scale Microscopy: EM, Label-free (Raman, CARS, SHG), AFM/SPM 
  • Macroscopic in -vivo Imaging: MRI, PET, SPECT, US, RX, CT
  • Top notch: in-vivo Ca++ imaging, optogenetics and opto-fMRI in brain research
  • Top notch: in-vivo optical imaging including Bioluminescence- and Fluorescence imaging and opto-acoustics 
  • Digitisation and Image Processing Basics
  • Visiting clinical and preclinical imaging facilities
