3. Course contents *

this introductory course in practical ethics consists out of two parts:

  1. the first part starts with a more fundamental reflection about (practical) ethics. We discuss the impact of naturalistic views on human nature and ethics in specific. We also discuss some fundmantal concepts in ethics and present a classification of different types of problems in (practical) ethics.
  2. The second part of the course consists of an introduction into six different fields of practical ethics. This year these fields are:
    1. business ethics
    2. environmental ethics
    3. bio-ethics
    4. legal ethics
    5. media-ethics
    6. the ethics of migration
