3. Course contents *

The student investigates an advanced technical-scientific problem that tackles the following items: organisation and preparation for the dissertation, study of literary data and a practical execution.
He/she has the possibility to execute the dissertation in cooperation with a company or a research group from the university.


The student makes a portfolio that contains the following elements:
- Data that shows that the student is capable of handling the investigation so as to come to a technical realisation of it, with emphasis on the research skills and planning of the investigation.
- Data/reports that show that the student has passed the process well, with special attention to technical realisations and teamwork.


He/she writes a report that meets the scientific norms concerning content and format, with the following elements: hypothesis, research methods, data collection and processing, results, conclusions and references.


The student presents his/her results orally to a professional jury and is capable of answering the questions asked by them.
