3. Course contents *

After a short general introduction, we mainly focus on three major subjects: analysis, integral calculus and series. For each unit, we first revise the most important topics of the basic subject matter taught in secondary education, after which we deepen and expand our study of these themes, and apply them to economics and business economics. The analysis unit deals with functions of both one and several variables, relating to the study of extremes (a relatively important subject in a faculty of applied economic sciences). In the section on integral calculus, we focus on indefinite and definite integrals, looking at standard techniques together with a number of applications. Finally, in the unit on series, we deal with series of numbers, Taylor series and power series.
