3. Course contents *

During the course students acquire the necessary skills to enable them to refer correctly to selected topics from the world of business and economics, such as marketing and sales. A good deal of independent study of English grammar is required. Students will be given individual guidance on the aspects of grammar which they need to improve. During classes the emphasis is placed on authentic learning materials such as listening exercises (e.g. interviews with international business people, radio documentaries on economic and financial topics); individual reading of a selection of articles on economic and general topics; oral exercises such as class discussions, presentations and business simulations; written exercises such as writing a blog post.
