3. Course contents *

The main objective of this English proficiency course is to improve students’ oral proficiency skills, so that they can speak more fluently and accurately in various academic and non-academic contexts. Students will be given the opportunity to practice their language skills – i.e. speak English – inside and outside the (virtual) classroom. This oral training is centered around four assignments: the first three each tap into different types of oral proficiency (academic/non-academic, monologue/dialogue, prepared/spontaneous), the fourth is meant to expand students' vocabulary in a fairly unregulated/autonomous manner.
