3. Course contents *

The main interpretation skills are discussed in detail and practised separately through specific exercises. For example, listening exercises, filling-in texts, mind-map exercises, page translation (Stegreifübersetzen) and oral language skills (German and Dutch) are discussed. The exercises are immediately evaluated and discussed. In this way, the students are also initiated into the peer assessment.  In addition, the students will receive an extensive introduction to the note-taking technique, mindfolders and oral summaries. Analyzing more complex speeches is also an important component. Further attention is paid to breath, voice, posture and presentation and correct use of language. By means of recordings of student performance, the teacher can provide individual feedback to each student.
