7.1 Required reading
The course material for the exam consists of the slides of each lecture, the lectures (taking notes during the lectures is important!) and the required reading for each lecture. The slides are uploaded on Blackboard, in most cases shortly before the lecture.
Each lecture mentions the papers and books on which the lecture is based (to enable students to improve their understanding of the lecture and explore certain topics further). In between and at the end a couple of mock exam questions will be given to help students to prepare for the exam.
The course schedule mentions for which lectures a reading in advance required and which of them are compulsory. The readings are made available in electronic form on Blackboard.
