The programme includes a number of communicative and functional exercises which progressively improve understanding, speaking, listening, reading and writing competencies and has concrete guidelines and models which help the student to express him/herself fluently in a business context (e.g in order to compile dossiers, to give business presentations, to participate in discussions and to write minutes and reports) In addition a method has been developed for the interpretation and summary of general business-related texts with special attention paid to meaning and development of arguments. 2. Student assignments: the students are divided into groups. Each group organises job application sessions, and gives also presentations based on a press dossier and a socio-economic dossier.
