In this course you will become acquainted with scientific research in the field of economic policy. You collect scientific and policy literature on an economic policy issue and you work with empirical data that is made available. Based on the literature and the data, you prepare a testable problem definition and operationalize it. You perform empirical analyses and you critically interpret the results. You develop the whole into a paper, which is prepared according to the requirements of a scientific text. You also pay attention to the ethical dimension of the research (citing and paraphrasing vs. plagiarism, lawful and unauthorized data manipulations, etc.)
