3. Course contents *

You learn what combinatorial and sequential logic circuits are and which functions can be realised by using basic digital components (gates, flip flops,...) or by using programmable logic.

In a number of lab sessions you learn how to model digital circuits using a hardware description language, you learn how to simulate their behaviour using a computer program, you learn how you can realise them in programmable logic (PLD) and you can evaluate the functionality of the created system.
