* Unidirectional steady conduction: flat walls, cylindrical and spherical shells
* Convective boundary fenomena: heat transfer and  overall heat transfer coefficient
* Steady conduction with internal heat generation
* Time-dependent conduction: unidirectional and multidirectional systems
* Convection: concise overview (internal and  external forced convection)
* Heat exchangers: practical aspects and calculation

Mass transfer
* Basic equations: 1st en 2nd law of Fick, total mass transfer
* Steady mass transfer
* Time-dependent diffusion
* Convective mass transfer: mass transfer coefficients; modelling interfacial mass transfer; analogy heat- and mass transfer
* Mass transfer with chemical reaction
