3. Course contents *

Partim Environmental Legislation

The purpose of this course is to guide the student in the numerous European, Belgian and especially Flemish laws on environmental topics and the authorities that develop and enforce them . The objective is to clarify how a company with a (potential) impact on the environment can develop its activities in a legal and sustainable way . Particular attention is paid to legislation on environmental permitting and management, on waste and on soil remediation and protection. A permit application will be practiced during the course as a case study to become familiar with the legislation and the conditions to operate.
