3. Course contents *

Weather and climate play an important role in our lives .Climatic factors influence, for example, the way we dress, the form of landscapes, adaptations of plants and animals. The first part of this course provides an overview of the dynamic processes in the atmosphere that determine the weather, in other words provides an explanation for the everyday weather. In the second part, both the global temperature and precipitation regimes in the different climatic regions are dealed with. The last part explains the changing climates in the past, as well as potential causes of climate change, and puts the whole in the context of "Global Change".
