3. Course contents *

When you want to understand how, based on already acquired theoretical chemistry and the building blocks, discussed in Chemical process engineering 1, you can realize a chemical installation, this is an appropriate optional course.

In Chemical process engineering 2 , the focus is put on the integration of different unit operations.  How, with the unit operations known, a complete process is designed.  How the different puzzle parts fit together. Which other aspects are playing a role in this exercise ?

Is there a ideal solution etc.

To realize this, a chapter about transport by piping, inclusive pumps and compressors is presented.  This is necessary as a part to connect  unit operations.

In this part exercises will be given, to improve the understanding of the theory. The accent lies on interpreting changes, not the hard mechanical or technical design.
