3. Course contents *

- Skills: training in reading, writing and speaking in Business Communication situations, e.g. business correspondence, preparation of files and surveys, simulations (role plays) of presentations, meetings, application procedures, fairs and exhibitions, etc.
- Vocabulary: in order to expand the knowledge of specialized economic vocabulary, the following subjects will be thoroughly discussed: the labour market, the monetary union, banking and means of payment, the stock market and the exchange business, the financing of the Comunidades Autónomas, NAFTA (TLC) and Mercosur, etc.
- Landeskunde: some individual reading assignments and presentations will give the students a clear insight into the recent economic developments in Spain and Latin America (mainly Mexico)
