Internships are intended to offer Master students the possibility of a first professional experience, esp. in the sector of cultural heritage: archives, museums, heritage libraries, etc. The accent is on gaining knowledge, skills and attitudes linked to historically oriented activities and/or products aiming at the general public of these organisations.
The course includes 4 to 5 classes during the first term, and the actual traineeship, which can take place during the first or the second term. The traineeship includes 120 hours of work, to be planned according to the student's possibilities and in agreement with the trainee post A the end of the traineeship, the student writes a report of his internship and a critical reflection on the way in which the organisation presents the past to a broad audience.
The internship will focus on activities aiming at a broad public, such as writing texts for websites, exhibition catalogues etc. It will also include participations to meetings, network events etc.
