  • Introduction to basic programming in Matlab which will be used as a tool in the analysis for different types of neural data
  • Basic analysis tools: Frequency Analysis, Filtering, Convolution, Principal Componet Analysis, Independent Component Analysis
  • Modeling of ligand-receptor interactions
  • Neural spike-train analysis
  • Modeling neurons and synapses
  • Analysis of task based functional magnetic resonance imaging
  • Analysis of dynamic functional connectivity from resting state fMRI data
  • Signal Detection Theory in psychophysics and behavioral analysis
  • Analysis of synaptic composition and activity using microscopy
  • Studying connectivity at the level of the brain using in-vivo imaging and whole brain imaging
  • Neural Networks
