3. Course contents *

Starting from the basic knowledge on review mechanisms of legislative and executive action acquired in other law courses (Constitutional law, Administrative Law, European Law, Civil procedure, Rights and Freedoms), important chapters therein are further explored in a number of introductory sessions.

Next more specific issues are death with in a problem-driven case approach where students draft applications and legal briefs and plead in a moot court context. These cases concern both national (administrative appeals; judicial review by the Council of State and the Constitutional Court; action in civil court) and inter- and supranational (Court of Justice, European Court of Human Rights) legal protection mechanisms.
