As a practical project, students can choose a practical assignment within an organization (a) or a research project (b) within the Knowledge Center for Cultural Management & Cultural Policy at UAntwerp

(A) The practical project includes a problem-oriented assignment and a thesis based on it. The project is organized in the second half of the second semester and is realized in a cultural organization / company from the creative industries or public service involved in culture or creative industries. The problem addressed is always a management problem. It should relate to one or more areas of the taught material and focus on analysis and policy recommendations.

(B) The research internship includes collaboration on a research assignment for the Knowledge Center for Cultural Management and Cultural Policy within their existing research projects, which always have a strong link with practice. It always concerns possible research projects of external organizations carried out at the UAntwerp within the knowledge center Culture Management and Culture Policy. The subject of this research project is also linked to the master's thesis. The research internship is organized in the first or second semester, depending on the availability of the student and is carried out at the University of Antwerp under the supervision of Prof. dr. Schramme

The practical project can be extended as a voluntary internship at the request of the institution supervisor. The practical project can also be carried out abroad, in consultation with training coordinator Prof. dr. Annick Schramme
