3. Course contents *

The following learning contents are specific for Spanish didactics, but they are also connected to general didactics and educational sciences (General Didactics, Learning and motivating, Educational concepts 1 and 2). In this course module, they are analyzed for and applied to subject specific didactics i.e. Spanish as a foreign language (ELE - Español como Lengua Extranjera).

Spaning Teaching Methodology builds on and deepens the elements viewed in Introduction to Teaching Methodology Spanish. All aspects of the didactic model are discussed. We start with the objectives, then deepen didactic strategies (including functional elements and language skills) and end with evaluation. Finally, we also broaden our scope to include annual planning, research competencies and professionalization activities.

Evaluation

All components are trained during practical exercises and / or micro teaching: you get a lesson theme and prepare a lesson individually or in group. You then give the lesson or part of it in a safe environment to a limited group of fellow students. You will be intensively guided by the subject teacher and / or teaching assistants.

During micro teaching you also learn to observe other lessons and to reflect on your personal teaching competences.
