The aim of a master's dissertation is for the student to show that he/she can independently, with the supervision of a promotor and at the level of a starting engineering, investigate an engineeringproblem in a scientific way and put the acquired insight into a coherent text. The student shows his/her analytic and synthetic skills. The master dissertation consists of a literature study, research and/or development and a dissertation and public defense.
