3. Course contents *


This course on Global Change deals with different global change issues or adaptations to a number of fundamental features of the ecosystem earth, in particular as affected by human activities. The importance of a broad interdisciplinary approach in this research is being emphasized. Because of the diversity of various global changes, various aspects are being presented and discussed by different teachers and speakers, all experts in their field. The following aspects of global changes are being presented: climate change, biodiversity, the ozone problem in all its aspects,  landscape ecology and global change, terrestrial ecosystems and the global carbon cycle, invasive species, climate skepticism.
