3. Course contents *

During the lectures, we will deal with the following topics: bending and torsion-critical speeds, practical application of discrete Fourier transforms, the basis of fast Fourier transforms, oscillation analysis by means of shaker and hammer construction, oscillation analysis for predictive maintenance, acoustic isolation and absorption, static and dynamic imbalance.

During the labs, the theory of the lectures will be put into practice: calculating, analysing and measuring of oscillations and correction of a dynamic imbalance, acoustic.
