Electric machines in vehicles: Brushless DC motors, Permanent Magnet Synchronous motors Switched Reluctance Motors, Asynchronous motors. 
Energy storage: Batteries and supercapacitors, fuel cells, superflywheels.
Drivetrains in Electric and Hybrid Electric vehicles.
Chargers, wireless energy transfer
Implementation of Electric and Hybrid Electric Vehicles  (+ cases by car manufacturers)
Auxiliary systems including starter motor, on board power supply, lighting and environmental sensing.
