Lab CNC: the first part will discuss the different functions of a CNC turn- and mill machine. In the second part the students will program a self-designed project, they will edit and simulate it and finally, produce it.
Lab hydraulics: After the hydraulic circuit is set up, the characteristics of pumps, safety valves and thermal expansion valves will be lined up via a pressure- and flow measurement.
Lab CMM: The students will master the basic operations of a 3-dimensional measuring machine. Furthermore, they will have to interpret the measuring results with nominal values and form- and positional tolerance.
CAM-lab: with NX-CAD-CAE-software: acquiring and executing the machining simulations (operational method, sequence, cutting tools, cutting parameters, generating a ‘toolpath’, … e.g, mill- and drilling operations).
With a custom-made programmed post processes, a ‘post-process file’ will be generated. With this, real components will be fabricated upon the CNC-machines.
Initiation ‘mold design’: designing an entire molding machine: matrices, ejectors, flow channels, cooling channels,
the basic principles of a 3D-printer will be explained and demonstrated, if possible, also own creations will be printed.
Hydraulics: All basic elements of an hydraulic schedule will be discussed
Hydraulics: measuring methods for pressure, flow and power will be taught.
