3. Course contents *

The course explores the central political psychology domains, political psychology being the psychological approach to politics. It is clear that politics is the work of people, and that many different aspects are involved. Since almost a century scholars were intrigued by the psychological analysis of political phenomena, and they studied such topics as elections, international conflicts, and protest movements.

Political psychology is a scientific discipline that stands on its own. It is an interdisciplinary field which should not to be mixed up with social psychology.

The perspective of the course returns in the "methods in political psychology" class, in the "political psychology" seminar, and in the master's thesis classes.
