1. Prerequisites *
At the start of this course the student should have acquired the following competences:
an active knowledge of
general knowledge of the use of a PC and the Internet
2. Learning outcomes *
Students will be able to develop a business case advice.
Students will be able to handle the challenges a start-up faces.
Students will be able to apply business model innovations.
Students will be able to think critically.
Students will be able to work under time pressure when been given incomplete information.
3. Course contents *
Students will learn about different business model innovations from a value creation, financial and human resources perspective.
Students will apply this in a business case, and enhance their understanding of developing and transforming to a new business in discussion with their fellow students.
Not only the strategic aspect, namely “what could a future oriented business model look like”, but also the people aspect, namely “how can you get your team on board” are subjects of the course.
Students will provide a constructive analysis of and feedback on the team assignment of one of the teams with a different focus area.
Students will provide an analysis of the team assignment of the strategic and human resources aspects of the team with a third focus area.
