3. Course contents *

Within the framework of the recent architectural history there are, contrary to what is shown in publications and presented on the international architecture scene, also other tendencies and contents that are more-fold with the makable, with the contextual of culture, construction, economy, space ... From this attitude the reflection can be given that architecture  related concepts and peripheral meanings equally claim an attention and potential expressions which today and in the future are important to the maintaining of architecture as "metier". This lecture series aims to offer an answer to what architects floats, the reason of their choice of visions in architecture, how they position themselves within their own context and what its importance is for us in Flanders.

The overarching theme for the lecture series in Spring 2018 will be published via Blackboard and the site of the VAi.
