I started working as a PhD researcher on the BorderSens project (http://bordersens.eu/) in November 2019. In this European project, I contribute to the development of a low cost user-friendly handheld (wireless) prototype device for drug detection on-site. My main focus is on developing novel strategies for electrochemical detection of illicit substances (e.g. MDMA), also including the development of data interpretation software that can close the gap between complex data output and non-expert end-user.
