2nd International Workshop on Distributed Intelligence for Sustainable Solutions
On November 12-14, 2025, the University of Antwerp hosts the 2nd International Workshop on Distributed Intelligence for Sustainable Solutions in conjunction with the 20th International Conference on P2P, Parallel, Grid, Cloud and Internet Computing (3PGCIC-2025) at the University of Kalba in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
The tremendous advances in AI, communication technologies and embedded systems have created an entirely new research field in both academia and industry focusing on distributed intelligence for sustainable solutions. This field introduces constrained intelligent systems into distributed software development. The implementation of limitations within a distributed environment like real-time control, power limitations, memory constraints, etc. require the introduction of new software development processes, software development techniques and AI architectures. It is obvious that these new methodologies will play a key role in future networked embedded agents. In order to facilitate these processes, further progress of the research and engineering on distributed intelligence is mandatory. The aim of this workshop is to bring together practitioners and researchers from both academia and industry in order to have a forum for discussion and technical presentations on the current research and future research directions related to this hot scientific area.
