The Sixth International Children’s Literature Symposium (ICLS) is hosted by the University of Antwerp and organized in collaboration with the University of Pittsburgh and Ocean University of China. The International Children’s Literature Symposium, launched by Ocean University of China, began in 2012 as a transnational dialogue between Chinese and American children’s literature scholars. In 2016, it expanded to its current international format, inviting all colleagues in children’s literature from around the world to present on their research.
