The Cognitive Neuroscience Colloquium at the University of Antwerp brings together researchers from across faculties to explore and advance the field of cognitive neuroscience. Building on the success of its first edition, this second colloquium invites all UAntwerp researchers with an interest in cognition and brain research to engage with new ideas, share expertise, and strengthen interdisciplinary connections.
Participants come from a broad range of disciplines—including psychology, neuroscience, computer science, and the social sciences—united by a common focus on cognitive processes. The event offers a full-day programme of keynote lectures, hands-on workshops, and opportunities for networking, encouraging exchange across research domains and career stages.
This initiative is part of the "Omkadering Jonge Onderzoekers" (OJO) programme, which supports the organisation of domain-specific training for early-career researchers. In line with OJO’s goals, the colloquium provides an interactive learning environment aimed at deepening both methodological and subject-specific expertise. The Antwerp Doctoral School coordinates the funding, which is specifically intended for initiatives that benefit PhD students and postdoctoral researchers.
